Coaches: Upper Cross Syndrome
Oct 20, 2014
Coaches: In this video Coach Glass breaks down Upper Cross Syndrome. The causes, what to look for and more importantly how to fix it! Sedentary lifestyle, bad posture and sitting at the computer all day are common causes of UPS. The pecs get short and taut, the lower traps become inhibited. This rolls the scapula forward or protracts them and gives the appearance of a hunched back. The problem is that this posture is horrible for rotational athletes that want to create power.
