Every 5 years you need to throw out the old and bring in the new. From your fashion, business strategy, hobbies and way of thinking. Life is impermanent. It is always changing and so should you. It has been said that our fashion, music and everything else we think is cool stops evolving the year you get married. This means if your parents were married in 1970, they will listen to classic rock, say things are "hip", do inappropriate impersonations at ethnic restaurants and wear ankle socks for the rest of their lives. You need to stay fresh to death! Im not saying I want to see grandpa in a puffy jacket and Jordan 1's but it means he should stop shopping for fashion at Costco. Although Kirkland does make a nice pair of...nothing. A fresh look at your business, your hobbies and way of looking at the world needs to be revisited every 5 years.
